About KT

Katie Parenteau

Movement Educator | Dance Pilates Specialist | Performance Trainer

My love for movement began at eight years old in the dance studio. I spent years training, performing, and eventually teaching dancers of all ages. Dance became more than just a hobby—it became the foundation for how I connect with others, express myself, and experience joy.

As a dance educator, I’ve seen firsthand how movement transforms lives, builds confidence, creates community, develops resilience, and helps people feel their best both physically and mentally.

That passion naturally led me to Pilates. Becoming a certified Mat Pilates instructor allowed me to combine my love for dance with intentional, functional movement. Today, I specialize in creating movement experiences that blend Pilates principles with dance conditioning, helping dancers, athletes, and everyday movers build strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness.

Beyond the studio, I'm passionate about bringing people together through movement. In 2024, I co-founded Stride Squad, a community running club in Regina, Saskatchewan. What started as a weekly run quickly grew into a welcoming community built on connection, encouragement, and the belief that movement is for everyone.

Whether I'm teaching Pilates, leading a dance workshop, coaching a team, facilitating a run club, or creating a custom movement experience, my goal is always the same: to help people discover the confidence, joy, and connection that movement can create.

My vision is to work with dancers, performers, and professional teams across Canada and the United States, bringing innovative movement education and performance training to studios, organizations, and communities.

I can't wait to move with you!
